Recorded in 1999-ish, under an Iowa City winter, entirely in another band's practice space. Throughout the recording process, when we could no longer think straight, we would just 'meow' instead. Hence, "The Kitty Sessions".

Several of these same songs appear on the Island Women release 'Future Home Of Countryland', but were remixed for that album in varying amounts.

reaction to the cleaner pop of Manimal Quartet. "Hapless and Seething"
is the 5th MH3TMB release and the most song-oriented. Recorded over the
course of 2010 and 2011 via 4-track cassette, it is a fuzzy collection
