A year or two after the end of Island Women, the band pulled together the best of what remained. The collection here was poured over, tweaked, edited, listened to repeatedly, tweaked again, organized and then........given to a few friends. It's not the definitive Island Women by any means, but it does showcase a band at the height of it's powers. Hopefully now it can live a new life, take a few deep breaths, and leave the Island for good.

the disintegration of noise rock outfit, Neglected Receptors, and in
reaction to the cleaner pop of Manimal Quartet. "Hapless and Seething"
is the 5th MH3TMB release and the most song-oriented. Recorded over the
course of 2010 and 2011 via 4-track cassette, it is a fuzzy collection
